Guest Services Attendant
Job Summary:
The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for the daily operations and oversight of the shower and laundry facilities as well as the mail room at New Day. This position ensures that guests have access to clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities, while also organizing and distributing mail in an efficient and respectful manner. The Guest Services Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment by providing essential services, restocking supplies, and supporting the overall functioning of the center.
Evaluation:
The New Day Director, following adopted policies of Community Partnership of the Ozarks, evaluates the Guest Services Attendant.
Reporting Structure:
The Guest Services Attendant reports to the New Day Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shower and laundry facilities as well as the mail room;
- Cleans the shower and laundry room;
- Organizes and distributes the mail to guests;
- Ensures there are plenty of available hygiene supplies;
- Ensures there are clean towels for daily shower use;
- Assists New Day Director in any other duties, projects, and assignments as needed;
- Participate in CPO’s resource development/fundraising activities;
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds essential;
- Time management and organizational skills are a must in order to handle multiple tasks with various priorities;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Must be reliable and punctual;
- Must be detail oriented and accurate;
- Must demonstrate strong computer and typing skills as well as written and oral communication skills;
- Must demonstrate a professional and friendly manner in dealing with the Partnership's staff, committees/task forces, clients and the general public;
- Must be able to effectively communicate the mission and work of the Community Partnership of the Ozarks, Inc.
Position Clarification:
The position of Guest Services Attendant is a grant-funded position and is based upon funding availability. The job duties are subject to change, based on the funding requirements. This is a non-exempt, full-time position: 37.5 hours per week. Grant funding dictates the pay range for this position. CPO receives federal grants and contracts and therefore must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
