New Day

At New Day, we believe everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to begin again. Our day center provides individuals experiencing homelessness with a welcoming, safe space to meet immediate needs while building long-term stability. From basic services like showers, laundry, and mail to supportive programs that foster connection, healing, and personal growth, we walk alongside each person on their journey.

Rest. Restore. Renew. At New Day, we provide a safe place to pause, regain strength, and find the support needed to move forward.

One Door

New Day is the home of the One Door program.

One Door serves those experiencing homelessness throughout Greene, Christian, and Webster counties.

When facing a housing crisis, understanding and navigating the systems of services can be confusing and overwhelming.  One Door assists by providing a central point of entry for coordinated intake, assessment, prioritization, and referrals for housing and shelter services.

  • If you are an adult without a safe, stable place to stay, please visit One Door at New Day, 809 N. Campbell Ave.
  • If you are a family with kids experiencing or at risk of homelessness, please visit us at the O’Reilly Center for Hope, 1518 E. Dale St.

At both locations, a One Door service coordinator will meet with you to help identify resources and options that may meet your individual needs.
