Job Summary:


The Resource Development Coordinator position is responsible for assisting with the organization’s resource development activities, including fundraising, individual, corporate, and foundation donor development, and grant writing.

Evaluation:


The Vice President of Community Relations, following adopted policies of Community Partnership of the Ozarks, evaluates the Resource Development Coordinator.

Reporting Structure:


The Resource Development Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Community Relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Co-chair CPO’s annual fundraising events;
  • Assist with donor development for individual, corporate and foundation funding for CPO programs;
  • Assist with annual donor letter mailing and Thank-a-Thon;
  • Manage One Cause software program for fundraisers and events, including building and managing event pages;
  • Manage donor information in donor software system and create reports;
  • Co-chair internal Resource Development/Fundraising Team;
  • Seek donations and sponsorships for events;
  • Grant writing and research for CPO program funding;
  • Complete and submit monthly in-kind and other resource development reports;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred/Associate’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years professional work experience required.
  • Experience with donor development and planning and implementing special events and fundraisers, including expertise in obtaining sponsorships and donations;
  • Self-directed, independent worker who can also work well as part of several different teams;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written;
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentations;
  • Proven ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines;
  • Detail oriented and accurate with excellent follow up and follow through;
  • Punctuality and good attendance;
  • Computer and internet literate (Microsoft Office, Teams and Google);
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs.;
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends;

Position Clarification:


The position of Resource Development Coordinator is a grant-funded position and is based upon funding availability. This is an exempt, full-time position. Grant funding dictates the pay range for this position. CPO receives federal grants and contracts and therefore must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
