Mandated Reporter Training

Who is a Mandated Reporter? Anyone responsible for the care, custody and control of a child.

Community Partnership of the Ozarks, in collaboration with Greene County Children's Division, Greene County Prosecutor's Office, and The Child Advocacy Center, Inc., offers a consistent, three-hour mandated reporter training free to all. The March 21st class is already full but there is still time to register for other upcoming classes.

To Register visit You will be given the option to choose one of the following 2024 dates:

* June 27th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm via Zoom
* August 15th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Community Partnership of the Ozarks (CPO) ~ 330 N. Jefferson Ave. ~ Springfield, MO 65803
* November 7th from 2;00pm to 5:00pm via Zoom

"What will I learn during the training session?"
• When must a Mandated Reporter make a report to the Hotline?
• If I am an administrator, what is my liability regarding mandated reporting?
• What happens after the report is made?
• As a mandated reporter, will I get information back about the report I make?
• What legal protections do I have as a mandated reporter?
