NOTICE: OAEH HUD Continuum of Care Funding Awards for FY2023


January 29, 2024

The Springfield/Greene, Christian, and Webster Counties Continuum of Care (DBA Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness – OAEH) was awarded for the FY2023 HUD Continuum of Care grant. The OAEH will be receiving a total of $1,348,661 in FY2023 CoC funding. The Continuum of Care is receiving $145,495 more in FY2023 than in FY2022.  All the projects that were selected by HUD for funding were allocated a larger amount of funding than was originally requested, other than the HMIS Projects and the Planning Grant.  However, the Planning Grant and the HMIS Project received the full amount requested

September 21, 2023

The Springfield/Greene, Christian, and Webster Counties Continuum of Care (DBA Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness – OAEH) approved FY2023 Consolidated Application is available below. The Consolidated Application includes the CoC Application, Priority Listings, and all Project Applications (New, Renewal, Planning). The CoC Executive Board has approved the Consolidated Application on September 21 and the City of Springfield will submit the Consolidated Application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a part of the FY2023 HUD Continuum of Care Competition on or before September 28, 2023.

The Springfield/Greene, Christian, and Webster Counties Continuum of Care (DBA Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness – OAEH) Project Listing is available for public review below. This Project Listing summarizes all project applications the CoC will be submitting to HUD as part of the FY2023 CoC Program Competition. The full Continuum of Care Consolidated Application, including the CoC Application, Priority Listings, and Project Applications will be posted for public comment on September 18, 2023 before being approved by the CoC Executive Board on September 21, 2023.

The Springfield/Greene, Christian, and Webster Counties Continuum of Care (DBA Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness – OAEH) is seeking project applications for eligible project types in response to the FY 2023 Department of Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). More information is available on HUD’s CoC Competition Page. In order to assist agencies with new or renewal project applications, the OAEH will hold an application training, which is mandatory for any agency submitting a new project applications. 

Virtual Application Training will be held on August 15, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. RSVP to Emily Fessler at efessler@cpozarks.org

Who should attend: Any agencies (non-profits or governmental entities) who plan to apply for a new project through this grant application process.

Save the Date - Mandatory New Project Application Training and Technical Assistance

The Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness will host a MANDATORY virtual application training on August 15, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This training is required for all agencies submitting new applications. RSVP to Emily Fessler at efessler@cpozarks.org for meeting information.
The local submission timeline and application process established by the Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness will be posted here by September 7, 2023. This will apply to all applications (new or renewal).

The Springfield/Greene, Christian, and Webster Counties Continuum of Care (DBA Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness – OAEH) FY2021 Consolidated Application is available for public review below. The Consolidated Application includes the CoC Application, Priority Listings, and all Project Applications (New, Renewal, and Planning). Public comments should be submitted, in writing, to Bob Atchley at batchley@springfieldmo.gov by 5:00 p.m. on November 9. The CoC will vote to approve the Consolidated Application on November 10 and the City of Springfield will submit the Consolidated Application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development as part of the FY2021 HUD Continuum of Care Competition on or before November 16, 2021.
